Penny can be a bit shy at first, especially around loud noises or quick movements, so a calm home with older children would suit her best. She needs the kind of family who will give her time, space, and encouragement as she learns to trust and feel safe.
She's wonderfully gentle with other dogs, often very appeasing, and would absolutely thrive with a calm and social canine companion who can help guide her and boost her confidence along the way.
Penny's ideal home would have a secure backyard (no front yard access or busy main roads, please), and an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of a more sensitive pup. A peaceful yard to sniff around in and a couch to cuddle up on would make her world complete - she loves being both indoors and outdoors, as long as she's close to her humans.
